A comment on Texting While Driving-A New Study Shows How Dangerous it is

This is a BIG problem in our society. Texting while driving is obviously negligent, but so is the use of a cell phone when driving. However less distracting is not the issue. The fact that it is distracting is the issue. There should be a law encompassing all digital devices to be illegal to operate by the driver of an automobile. There are now laptops embedded in dashboards. Who is to say one is worse than the other with any accuracy. All digital devices are causing accidents nationwide every single day. If people need directions, they need to stop the vehicle to compute, communicate, or text. Convenience will still live.

A comment on Paintball Safety Depends On The Rules Of Engagement

Paintball itself is a pretty safe sport, as long as guns are properly chronod(balls per second shot) and everyone wears safety equipment the most you'll get out of it are a few bruises here and there (and of course the occasional fight because someone is upset about a ref call but you get that in any sport). The most dangerous part of the whole game is the air/co2/nitrous tanks that must be maintained properly and can burst if overfilled by improperly maintained compressors--but even those have safety measures so it's not something you hear about happening a lot either.
